If the item is in stock we usually deliver within 7-14 working days (Over 99% of the time), but this can be up to 28 working days during busy periods OR if your item is not in stock.
Our basic delivery is for the sofa to be delivered in its packaging to your room of choice. Please ensure that you open the packaging, inspect the sofa, and tell the driver of any damages or scuffs at time of delivery – we will then resolve these issues. Please do this whilst the driver is still there.
How Delivery Works
When we receive your order, we will send you an order confirmation.
You will then receive a second email from us stating your delivery day, and asking you to confirm that this is okay, and that key information such as item ordered, address and telephone number are correct.
When you have confirmed this back to us, your item will be delivered by our delivery team.
On the morning of the day before your delivery day, we will send you a further email message, telling you if it is an am/pm delivery slot, and provide you with a telephone number for your delivery driver.
Our delivery driver will ring you when he has finished the delivery prior to yours, to give you an accurate delivery time.
Please note that we cannot offer this delivery service in any other way as it is designed to be fast and efficient, whilst keeping costs down.
Surcharges & Premium Delivery Services
Surcharges apply to Scotland, Ireland and South West England, please see section below on Scotland and England surcharges.
There is a £20 surcharge to the following postcodes: DG, TD, EH, ML, KA, G, FK.
There is a £35 surcharge to the following postcodes: TR, PL, EX and TQ.
We currently do not deliver to Scotland Highlands, Isle of Wight or Isle of Man, but can offer this via a courier service which has an additional cost, if interested in this now, please call us on 0121 392 7371 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
For faster deliveries and deliveries on alternative days, our express service is available and currently costs £199 – we can usually deliver within 24 hours if the item is in stock.
We also offer a PREMIUM DELIVERY SERVICE which is currently an additional £50.00. We recommend this service as the drivers will deliver your sofas even to higher floors as well as the removal of all the packaging, which is often very bulky and will not fit in a normal domestic bin. To opt for this service, please either call us on 0121 392 7371 or send a message.
Please note that payment needs to be completed before your delivery is arrange as our courier / delivery team can refuse higher floor delivery when they arrive at your address.
Delivery of Items Currently Not In Stock
Should we not have your item in stock, this would need to be ordered directly from our manufacturer, once we know the date your item will be delivered to our warehouse we will contact you to let you know your delivery date. We will deliver to you on the day as above on the maps, for your postcode area, as soon as we have the item in stock. We will email you beforehand, and provide you will a update by email each week in the meantime.
The Small Print
Delivery will be made only to the address stated by you at the time of placing the order.
Delivery will be made by the seller or an agent appointed by the seller.
The seller and their agents will make all reasonable efforts to meet the date agreed for delivery, should this not be possible the seller will not be held responsible.
Once the date and time has been agreed, if the seller is not present the buyer reserves the right to charge and additional £25 to rearrange delivery.
Delivery timescales and charges are estimated guidelines and will be confirmed before dispatch.
The seller or nominated agents are unable to hold goods. Delivery must be arranged within 5 days of the goods being available for delivery. The seller retains the right to charge storage should the time period be exceeded.
For what ever reason should the seller fail to deliver within 60 days, the buyer is able to cancel the contract without penalty.
Most Goods will require some form of assembly and it is the Buyer’s responsibility to assemble the Goods.
Two man delivery service is to the room of choice at the driver’s discretion if access is clear. For health and safety our delivery people are not able to remove their shoe’s. Please ensure you protect any floor and surfaces.
All delivery’s must be signed for and once full payment has been received, possessions of the Goods will be transferred to the Buyer.
